Bikes have their own locks and their own blanks. We do these too.
Before we touch the lock, you know what it will cost.
Call if you need someone right now. Otherwise send this and we will contact you back.
Motorcycles are not small cars. The blanks are different, the ignition sits in a different place, and many bikes have a seat lock and a fork lock that use the same key.
The make, the model and the year, whether any key still exists, and which locks on the bike use the key: the ignition, the seat, the fuel cap or a helmet lock.
Many newer motorcycles have an immobilizer, so a key cut correctly will turn but the engine will not start until the key is paired to the bike. Some of those can be done at the bike and some need dealer equipment. We check yours before we come out.
Street parking, a garage or a building's bike room. The work happens where the bike is.
Stop turning it. The broken piece can usually be pulled out of the cylinder, and the broken key itself is often enough to cut a new one from.
In many cases, yes. We read the lock and cut a key to it, the same principle as a car.
On many bikes those locks share one key, and we match them where we can.
Yes. Like everything else, it happens where the bike is.
