Pairing a key or a remote to your car, done at the curb.
Before we touch the lock, you know what it will cost.
Call if you need someone right now. Otherwise send this and we will contact you back.
A car key is two things at once. There is the metal that turns in the lock, and there is the chip that tells the car it is allowed to start. Cutting the metal is the easy half. The programming is what makes the car respond.
Programming is not one procedure. Different manufacturers lock it down in different ways, and some model years are closed to anyone outside a dealership.

Sometimes. Many online keys and fobs are the wrong frequency or a poor copy that will not pair. Tell us the part number before you buy, or before we come out.
Often it is, and that is the first thing to try. If a new battery does not fix it, the fob may need to be reprogrammed or replaced.
Not every one. Some manufacturers close programming to dealerships for certain model years. We check yours before we come.
